Paediatrician

Dr. Staci-lee Peart

Dr. Staci-lee Peart completed her medical training with the University of the West Indies. After her internship year, she began her endeavors in Paediatrics by working at our leading paediatric hospital in the departments of Orthopedics, Cardiology, and Accident and Emergency. She subsequently moved on to work at the Neonatal Care Unit at our leading neonatal specialist hospital, after completing her post-graduate training in Paediatrics through the UWI. where she fosters her love of neonates.

Dr. Matthew Ferguson

Dr. Matthew Ferguson
Dr. Dr. Matthew Ferguson is a General Practitioner (Family Doctor) who graduated from the University of the West Indies and also attended Wolmers Boys school. Dr. Ferguson is here to guide you to your best health, as he firmly believes that prevention is better than cure. Outside of his medical practice, Dr.Ferguson enjoys cooking and baking and runs a successful catering service.

Dr. Hemachandra Chindepalli

Dr. Hemachandra Chindepalli, (‘Dr Chandra’, for short) is a consulting Orthopaedic Surgeon with over twenty years of experience in Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery.

Nutritionist

Dr. Maxine Hylton Gardner

Maxine Hylton Gardner, a dedicated and accomplished registered Dietitian, stands at the forefront of nutrition and Dietetics. With an innate passion for nutrition, Maxine obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at northern Caribbean university. She furthered her her education with a postgraduate diploma at the University of Technology; solidifying her expertise in nutrition and dietetics. Currently she serves as chief nutritionist at a leading hospital in Jamaica. In her role, Maxine combines scientific knowledge with empathy, tailoring dietary plans to the unique needs of each patient-both adult and child- that she encounters. Her exceptional ability to communicate and connect with her patients facilitates her family-centered practice.

Dr. Stacey-Ann Brown

Dr. Stacey-Ann Brown is our General Practitioner. She is passionate in her pursuit of delivering insightful medical care to empower persons from all walks of life to use ‘healthy thinking’ to become the healthiest version of themselves. As a General Practitioner, she incorporates her knowledge of Public Health, to understand the ebb and flow of good health care delivery.

General Surgery

Dr. Conrad Morris

As an experienced General Surgeon, patients are always pleasantly surprised by Dr. Conrad Morris’ easy-going and truly down to earth demeanor. This comes from his rural upbringing and from having over 20 years of experience in his field. Dr. Morris graduated from the Rostov State Medical University, Russia in 1996, and completed his DM General Surgery at the University of the West Indies in 2006. He is a Consultant Surgeon at the Kingston Public Hospital and an Associate Lecturer in General Surgery at the University of the West Indies.

Internal Medicine

Dr. Trevor Bygrave

Dr Trevor Bygrave is a consultant physician in Internal Medicine. He holds a DM in Internal Medicine from the University of the West Indies, Mona. He had undergraduate training at the University of London and the University of the West Indies and has special interest in Cardiology.

Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Dr. Omar Wellington

Dr. Omar Wellington is our Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He recently completed a fellowship in Gynaecological Oncology, which is his passion. Our female patients love Dr. Wellington’s jovial demeanour and his ability to put them at ease with laughter. A son of Manchester, he attended Manchester High School, where he developed his love for Cricket, of which he is an avid fan. A family man he is a supportive husband and father. One of the coolest and most hard-working doctors you will ever meet, Dr. Wellington J.P, will take care of all your pregnancy, reproductive and intimate needs.

Paediatric Cardiology

Dr. Tamra Morris

Dr. Tamra Tomlinson Morris (aka ‘Dr. T’) is the lead Paediatrician for this dynamic group of paediatricians at Burlington Health and the Paediatric Place. With over 15 years of experience in the field, she is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and in 2013, completed a Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology at the renowned Royal Brompton Hospital in London. She has expertise in managing complex cardiology cases, performing Echocardiograms, ECGs and doing Cardiology Consultations for children. Dr. Tomlinson Morris is also an Associate Lecturer in Paediatrics at the University of the West Indies and a transformative past president of the Paediatric Association of Jamaica.

Paediatric Surgery

Dr. Sarah Marshall Niles

Dr. Sarah Marshall Niles practices as a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at the Bustamante Hospital for Children. She holds an MBBS degree with honors and a DM in Paediatric Surgery from the University of the West Indies, and has recently returned from a fellowship in Australia where she gained experience in minimally invasive surgery at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne; Monash Children’s Hospital; and Perth Children’s Hospital.

Dr.Shedale Griffiths

Dr Shedale Griffiths-Nelson is a Hanover native who attended The Hampton school for girls. She aspired to become a Linguist but through volunteering at the Cornwall Regional Hospital in Montego Bay, she found her love for Paediatrics and is now on a mission to provide holistic care for children.

Dr Griffiths-Nelson completed her training as a medical doctor at the University of the West Indies, Mona. She then pursued a DM in Paediatrics. During her residency, she developed an interest in developmental paediatrics.

She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, playing tennis and volunteering with BAM Moms Society where she does prenatal classes for expectant moms. She can be found at the Paediatric Place and is available for deliveries.

Dr. Kumarie Kooseram

Dr. Kumarie Kooseram is a dedicated paediatrician with a wealth of knowledge and many years of experience. She earned her postgraduate degree in Paediatrics from the University of the West Indies where she is currently a Consultant Paediatrician. Her passion for providing exceptional care to children has driven her to excel in her career. She is known for her compassion, expertise, and commitment to ensuring the well-being of her young patients.

Dr. Richille Brown

Dr. Richille-Anne Brown first had a love for children when she was a child herself playing the role of nurse to her pregnant aunt at the tender age of six and that love has remained strong through her journey to becoming a paediatrician. Dr. Brown currently holds a first degree in Biochemistry and Zoology from the University of the West Indies, a Master’s Degree in Natural sciences from the University of Glasgow. She went on to receive her medical degree and Postgraduate medical degree in Paediatrics from the University of the West Indies Mona.

Dr. Toni-Anne Fulford

Dr. Toni-Anne Fulford Ramdial did her medical training at the University of the West Indies and graduated in 2004 with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). After completing her internship she began working in the Accident and Emergency Department at the Bustamante Hospital for Children in 2005. This solidified her love of working with children and showed her she was meant to be a paediatrician. She is a past vice president and executive member of the Paediatric Association of Jamaica.

Dr. Natalie McNeil

Dr. McNeil is one of our more experienced Paediatricians with close to 20 years of practice at our local paediatric hospital. She has seen it all! She is known to get so involved with her patients that they have a hard time transitioning when they are no longer of ‘paediatric age’. In addition to being dear to her patients, she is a mentor to many young Paediatricians in training. Dr. McNeil is a wife, mother, paediatrician and loyal friend. Dr. McNeil is a past president of the Paediatric Association of Jamaica.

Dr. Debra Hall-Parkinson

Dr. Hall-Parkinson attended high school at Campion College and has always been guided by their motto “Strong in Faith and Work”. After graduating high school, she attended Howard University in Washington D.C. where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated with First Class Honors. She then returned to Jamaica to pursue a career in Medicine. Dr. Hall-Parkison attends in-hospital deliveries. She is known for her warmth and accessibility and is very popular with the families of newborns. Dr. Hall is the sitting treasurer of the Paediatric Association of Jamaica.

Dr. Aileen Lue

Dr. Aileen Lue attended the St. Andrew High School for Girls. She then went on to pursue her medical degrees in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Doctor of Medicine in Paediatrics at the University of the West Indies, Mona. She absolutely enjoys working with children and presently works at the leading paediatric hospital. Dr. Lue shows a lot of empathy and is well liked by all age groups. She also does pre-natal consultations and hospital deliveries.

Forty-five years as paediatric occupational therapist providing consultation, screening and full assessment for children with physical, developmental and behavioural disabilities.
